This role will head up our Homecare division, which delivers person-centred support to older adults and vulnerable individuals in their own homes. With six CQC-registered branches — Derby, Nottingham, Mansfield, Newark, Lincolnshire, and Leicester — and a strong foundation of quality and reliability, this division is poised for further growth. We’re now looking for a forward-thinking operational leader to drive performance, quality, and expansion. The Role As Head of Operations, you will be responsible for the leadership, compliance, and development of our Homecare services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and support Registered Managers across six CQC-registered branches.
  • Ensure full compliance with all CQC regulations, governance standards, and safeguarding requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Group Operations Director and executive team to deliver strategic goals.
  • Oversee budgets, resource planning, workforce development, and service improvement.
  • Champion a culture of continuous quality enhancement and person-centred care.
  • Report to the Board of Directors on operational performance and strategic progress.
  • Build strong relationships with commissioners, external stakeholders, and partners.
  • Support new service launches, geographical expansion, and innovation in care delivery.

About You

We’re looking for an experienced and proactive leader who brings:

  • Senior management experience in homecare/domiciliary services.
  • A strong understanding of CQC regulations, care governance, and operational excellence.
  • Inspirational leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage change across diverse teams.
  • A hands-on approach, with the willingness to step in and support branches when needed.
  • Proven experience in managing budgets, performance, and service growth.
  • A passion for high-quality, person-centred care and a commitment to improving lives.
  • A relevant qualification in health, social care, or management (desirable).
