Homecare Care Assistant - Hospital to Home team - Block Pay (Full Time, Part Time)

Fosse Healthcare are looking for individuals with a background in care who are highly motivated to join our new hospital to home team. You will be supporting service users by enabling them to maintain their independence, dignity & wellbeing after a stay in hospital. You would require a valid driving license with access to your own vehicle.

What we can offer you:

- £12 per hour on weekdays

- £13 per hour on weekends

- Block Shift Payments

- 30p per mile for travel mileage

How is this role different to a Care Worker role I hear you ask?

Well, our team of hospital to home care assistants are on hand to attend to service users of new care packages that have just started with Fosse. As the first to attend, we are looking for someone to be a true advocate of Fosse and our values to set the scene for the ongoing relationship between the service user, their family and us.

Our team visits people in their own home and provides direct support to them. This may include help with personal care, including washing, bathing and toileting. Providing medication and motivating service users to achieve goals they have set. The role could also involve support to identify and join local community groups. The aim of the service is to promote the person’s overall wellbeing, providing every opportunity for people to lead happy, healthy, and independent lives.

The successful applicants will be joining a supportive and motivated team who value learning and work in close partnership with other professionals in the area. A full induction and training are provided as well as regular supervision and team meetings with the office-based reablement team. The role is subject to dbs and reference checks.

- Minimum of 1 year care experience is essential

- Driving License is essential

- Access to your own vehicle is essential
